News and reviews Rovio Launch Bad Piggies on Games. The green pigs can only take so much air-borne beating from those angry multi-colored birds, so Angry Birds creator Rovio decides it is time for the grunts to pay back.
The maker behind the phenomenal “Angry Birds” mobile game has announced its latest game called “Bad Piggies”, wherein players help the green swine defeat their avian enemies.
Although the gameplay remains hush-hush, Rovio assures that there is “not a slingshot in sight.”
“There’s a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we’ve been constantly asked: what about the pigs’ side of the story,” Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said. “Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.”
The new game will be available for iPhone, Android, and Mac beginning September 27th, with versions for Windows Phone, Windows 8, and PC coming soon.
